15 March 2003 Philips Toucam Pro webcam and 2x barlow on an 8" SCT. Frame alignment, selection, stacking and wavelet processing in Registax. Post processing in PSP7.

9 December2002 Toucam Pro at prime focus of 8"SCT f10 with 2x barlow, 30 second video captured with Iris at 5fps and 640x480, 1/25s exposures with 25% gain. 60 frames from 131 automatically selected with Registax. Images stacked and wavelet processed with Registax. Further processing in The Gimp: unsharp mask, despeckled and colour balanced.
30 frames from 141. Processing similar to other images.
Slightly better results using a different processing technique that seems to have brought out the detail but introduced less noise. This image is from the same video as my previous post but this time 55 frames selected from 131 in Registax, wavelet processing, followed by 2 iterations of a more gentle unsharp mask, gentle gaussian blur, despeckled, slight colour curve adjustment and slight sharpening.
50 frames from 298 in Registax, wavelet processing, followed by 2 iterations of a more gentle unsharp mask, gentle gaussian blur, despeckled and slight sharpening. It's not quite so sharp as the 23.29 image but there's less noise, the colours are maybe not so pleasing but more natural.
14 February 2002 Toucam Pro at prime focus of 8"SCT f10 with 2x barlow, Video captured with QCfocus at 5fps, 50 sharpest frames selected and summed with AstroVideo, Default unsharp mask 5 with AstroStack, contrast stretch & gamma correction in PaintshopPro.
6 February 2002 WebCam First Light - Image with Toucam Pro at prime focus of 8" SCT f10 with 2x barlow. 12 frames stacked using AstroStack with unsharp mask 1-3x3sharpen and deconvolve cit1-laplace3x3 .
